Now available inside Lotus Notes, IntelliPRINT Analytics allows users to view and analyze reports within the familiar Lotus Notes interface.
As a native solution to Lotus Notes, IntelliPRINT Analytics seamlessly integrates report analysis with your Lotus Notes application workflow. Report formats are stored within the Notes database, enabling replication and easy re-use, resulting in fewer overheads in terms of installation, management, rollout and control.
Data manipulation and analysis
Extensive drag and drop functionality enables end-users to manipulate data and create a variety of real-time reports. Notes data once transferred to the ‘Analytics’ grid can be analyzed by sorting, filtering, grouping, querying and computing.
Create business reports directly from databases. Users can include and remove fields from databases directly in a single-click and customize reports to suit their needs on-the-fly.
Users can pull data from multiple databases/views into a single report by using a simple wizard. What would have otherwise required extensive coding to achieve, is made possible for business users in a simple point-and-click operation. This functionality brings the complete enterprise Notes data spread across multiple databases in multiple locations at the disposal of business users to get real-time business insights in the easiest way possible.
Report data can be represented in a variety of visual formats. A wizard based chart creation enables quick creation of charts. Further, the dynamic Active Chart option enables users to quickly try multiple combinations of data visually before they can arrive at a specific insight they are looking for. Users can leverage these charts in MS PowerPoint, MS Word or other applications, by using the ‘Copy Chart’ option.
Users can export reports to popular formats like Excel, PDF, Text, etc. and email them directly without visiting the Notes mail client. The exported reports can reflect all filters/summary details in the report. The charts can be copied and used in MS PowerPoint, MS Word or other applications.
Being native to Lotus Notes and Domino, IntelliPRINT Analytics inherits Notes Access Control List (ACL) for reader-author access control settings from the parent databases. Users can set Format Access Rights for reports created by them to control report access by other users.
Inherits ACL settings from Lotus Notes and Domino
Users cannot edit/ modify data, but can analyze and create charts
Report template is saved back in the database, making it secure
Exception Highlighting
By specifying a condition to columns, users can highlight exception cells to get a snapshot view of critical information every time they open a report. This extends the value of one-time analysis done on the reports.
Allows users to filter report data based on multiple conditions applied on multiple columns. Unlike the basic filters, this allows users to filter data based on database fields that don’t figure in the report.
An extensive array of mathematical functions, enable users to perform simple and complex calculations on the report data. This feature extends the data functionality, for users to perform ad hoc analysis and reduces dependency on databases for every detail.
Formulas are expressions that have program-like attributes. For example, you can assign values to variables and use limited control logic.
Formula language provides syntax and @functions for evaluating constants and variables, and for performing simple logic. Variables can be fields in Notes documents or temporary variables (also called temporary fields) used only for the immediate formula.
