Designed for Lotus Notes, IntelliPRINT Reporting acts as an add-on layer over your Notes infrastructure using native Notes APIs to retrieve data. IntelliPRINT supports native Notes features like Notes scripts, @DBLOOKUP functions, other @Formulae and more. Report templates are stored as .nsf documents along with the Notes database, enabling replication and easy re-use, resulting in fewer overheads in terms of installation, management, rollout and control.
This new drag-and-drop report creation interface allows Notes Developers to create complex reports by selecting data elements for reporting, choosing reporting elements and defining properties for each of these elements.
The new Wizard Report Creator allows novice users to create basic columnar and grouped reports in a few clicks. Report developers can then incorporate additional functionality to create complex reports.
User-friendly WYSIWYG designer lets developers create complex report templates from multiple Notes data sources without any coding effort. Create reports from Notes view, Multiple Notes databases, selected documents, and by combining Notes and RDBMS.
IntelliPRINT Reporting's new Visual Query Builder enables adding columns and fields to the report using simple drag-and-drop and point-and-click operations. This interface also helps in constructing formulae, writing scripts and more.
Generate powerful multi-layer charts and graphs from Lotus Notes. The new Chart Object Inspector supports a wide variety of charts including bar, 3D bar, line, pie, doughnut, scatter, radar etc., and provides advanced options to enhance the functionality and look-and-feel of charts.
IntelliPRINT Reporting allows reports to be exported to a wide range of output formats including PDF, JPG, HTML, XLS, CSV, RTF, BMP, GIF and TIFF, facilitating easy distribution.
Multiple Report Types
IntelliPRINT Reporting lets you create columnar, tabular, cross tab and custom reports with the options for headers, and footers, with your Notes data.
The new sub report function enables users to embed a report within a report. Developers can use this functionality to embed additional data in certain areas of the report. This saves the complexity of having this "nested data" as part of the main report.
The crosstab functionality in IntelliPRINT Reporting is a breakthrough in Lotus Notes reporting. Developers can now create multi-level cross tabs by dragging and dropping data elements in the crosstab wizard.
Report developers can now create reports that take data feed from multiple databases/views without using the @Dblookup function, thereby negating performance issues associated with @Dblookup.
The new Object Inspectors are visual components for managing object properties and events. They are used to manage and edit object information, properties and events using a convenient interface. The objects that can be managed using this include Report, Page, Bands, Text, Sub reports, Cross tab, Drawing objects, Picture, Chart, Barcode, Rich Text, HTML, etc.
IntelliPRINT Reporter incorporates a new language expression providing an extensive function library, a powerful scripting engine, and an array of mathematical, logical & other operators, resulting in client-side intelligence to reports.
Generate reports on a scheduled basis with automatic execution and distribution. Reports and documents can be emailed directly from IntelliPRINT Reporting. End users can access IntelliPRINT Reporting functions through an action button in the Notes application.
Report Deployment (Web/Client)
IntelliPRINT Reporting comes with an extremely easy-to-use report publishing mechanism. View reports on a browser or Notes client, and access or process data quickly and accurately.
IntelliPRINT Reporting uses Notes Security features and inherits Notes ACL for reader-author access control settings. Users can also set ACLs for selective access to report data.
Inherits ACL settings from Lotus Notes and Domino
Users cannot edit/ modify data, but can analyze and create charts
Report template is saved back in the database, making it secure
Scalability
IntelliPRINT Reporting is scalable to address the reporting needs of hundreds of users across your organization. It also lets you deploy reporting components on an IBM Websphere Portal or J2EE environment, to suit your enterprise needs.
Printing
Create professional reports and print labels and envelopes with barcodes in standard or customized sizes. The automated attachment printing feature in IntelliPRINT Reporting eliminates the hassle of opening every mail and attachment for printing.
IntelliPRINT Reporting 5.1 provides a significant performance improvement in data filtering at design time, as compared IntelliPRINT Reporting 4.2. In IntelliPRINT Reporting 4.2, data filtering was achieved by writing @Formula statements. In the latest version of IntelliPRINT Reporting, the report wizard filters the records at the dataset level, which is a faster, easier and more efficient way to filter data.
