Key Challenges – The need for partnering with Synaptris
NTConsult’s application for the Pharmaceutical domain leverages the Lotus Domino application framework. This application helps customers manage regulatory compliance, reduce time to market and increase team collaboration and efficiency. It assists leading pharmaceutical companies in Germany across functions such as, procurement, market analytics, marketing, distribution and Finance.

Reporting and analytics forms a vital part of NTConsult’s applications. With the information presentation provided by the Domino application framework, users are unable to visualize their data, which is a key demand from users to effectively take away information that their data is presenting. NTConsult had to invest significant effort and time to meet these information needs by using Lotus Script.

NTConsult were using scripting extensively to augment Views and meet the critical information needs of their end-users. This placed a significant overhead on the IT teams and presented challenges in meeting the information needs in a timely manner.

As an ISV, NTConsult needed a solution that provides its customers advanced reporting and sophisticated data visualization capabilities. It preferred a solution that can be easily integrated with its offerings and does not require cost and time intensive implementation or on going maintenance for its customers. The solution also needed to have lower ROI period and time to value so that NTConsult‘s customers can start seeing value quickly and achieve their business objectives faster.

NTConsult chose to partner with Synaptris by integrating IntelliPRINT, a native plug-in solution for Notes & Domino that provides users with advanced, real-time reporting and data visualization capabilities. IntelliPRINT significantly increased the speed of report delivery by providing a standard framework for report development. The availability of timely visual information resulted in significant productivity improvements for users of the application and eliminated operational inefficiencies. IntelliPRINT also delivered significant cost savings and productivity gains for NTConsult in developing and managing reports. IntelliPRINT today enables close to 90% savings in report creation time for NTConsult by reducing the report creation cycle from 2 to 3 days to just 3 hours! They are now able to deliver presentation quality visual information to users as an integral part of their application workflow!

Today, IntelliPRINT is a key part of NTConsult’s applications and has been one of the deciding factors in the 3 healthcare projects Sanitaetshaus Aktuell AG, Reha Team Nordwürttemberg, and Carl Beuthel, Wuppertal awarded to them. NTConsult, powered by Synaptris, is looking to expand its Healthcare customer base to 100 in the next 12 to 18 months.
