Key Challenges – The need for partnering with Synaptris
Information management and intelligence is a critical part of CSMC's applications. The information presented in Notes Views, most often does not meet their customer’s dynamic business and information needs. Investing significant effort and time to meet ad-hoc information needs using LotusScript still has a severe limitation – the information presented is not analyzable. As a result, the developer has to cater to individual needs of business users, leading to significant time and effort.

CSMC's applications are largely Domino-based, as most of their customers need to use applications on the move. In the absence of a Notes native solution, enabling analysis on Domino data requires exporting data to an external spreadsheet application. This compromises the robust data security and integrity offered by the Lotus technology. Multiple spreadsheets are created and as a result customers end up spending significant time in looking for the right set of data, rather that acting on the business situation!
