Presentation to PANDA on Reporting and Datamining Solutions

CSS presented to the Philadelphia Area Notes Discussion Association (PANDA) on October 30, 2002.

The 90-minute presentation was focused on Specialized Reporting and Datamining solutions for Notes and Domino users. PANDA consists of Notes and Domino users, designers, trainers, managers, systems administrators, and architecture specialists. PANDA's purpose is to address business, and technical issues associated with Notes, Domino and groupware technology.

Ram, Business Manager presented IntelliPRINTPLUS and IntelliVIEW - the suite of Reporting and Datamining tools for Lotus Notes and Domino to this group.

With IntelliPRINTPLUS, sophisticated reports based on Notes data can be designed quickly, saved and then accessed with a Notes client. Besides reports, users can easily preview and print labels, envelopes, calendars, bar codes, pre-formatted documents and forms.

IntelliVIEW the interactive data mining, querying and analytics tool is designed for business end users to generate graphical ad hoc reports on live data in seconds without any programming effort. With both IntelliPRINTPLUS and IntelliVIEW exporting to popular formats such Excel, PDF, Text, XML, TIF, etc is possible.

The group was primarily interested in advanced reporting features such as exporting to popular formats like Excel, PDF, Text, XML, TIF, etc and specialized printing such as POs, Complex forms, and Preprinted forms. How data from Notes Views is transposed into an interactive spreadsheet like view, to query, sort, filter, count... was also of great interest.
