Setting up IntelliPRINTPLUS for Domino on a Domino Server

IntelliPRINTPLUS for Domino can be installed only on a Domino Server. You need a Notes Client on the same PC on which the Domino Server is installed to use the IntelliPRINTPLUS for Domino Installer. If you don't have a Notes Client installed on the PC on which the Domino Server is installed, then you can make use of the Domino Server's Notes Client (available in the Program Directory of the Domino Server) for this purpose.

Successful Installation and functioning of IntelliPRINTPLUS for Domino on a Domino Server involves 2 phases

Phase I: Installation of IntelliPRINTPLUS on a Domino Server.
Steps to be followed to install IntelliPRINTPLUS for Domino on a Domino Server:
i. Open the IntelliPRINTPLUS Installer Database in your Notes Client
ii. Click on "Install" button
iii. View the License Information. If you accept the License Agreement, the click "I Agree" button. This will start the automatic install process
iv. If you have used a separate Notes Client (other than the Server's Own Notes Client), you will be prompted to enter the following information.
Domino Server's Program Directory Path:
Enter the Domino Server's Program Directory Full Path here. Say for example C:\Lotus\Domino.
Domino Server's Data Directory Path:
Enter the Domino Server's Data Directory Full Path here. Say for example C:\Lotus\Domino\Data.
Make sure that the above information is properly entered; else the Installation routine will not proceed.
v. Once you have entered the proper information in Step IV, the automatic installation process will start. You can now follow the information on the message boxes that will be prompted for further action during the Installation process.
vi. Once the Installation is over, restart the Domino Server. Make sure that the "HTTP" task is running on the Domino Server.

Phase II: Configuring the Server Document in the Domino Directory (PAB) of the Domino Server for IntelliPRINTPLUS for Domino.
The following configuration settings should be made in the Server Document of the Domino Server:
i. Under the "Server Access" section in the "Security" tab of the Server Document, the option "Only allow server access to the users listed in this Directory" should be "No"
ii. Under the "Agent Restrictions" section in the "Security" tab of the Server Document, the User ID (or the group to which it is a member) who has signed the Database should be included in both "Run restricted Lotus Script/Java agents" as well as 'Run unrestricted Java/Java agents". If you don't want to change these values in the server document, then you should sign the Notes Database with the User ID who has access to run Lotus script agents on the Domino Server.

Here, the Notes Database mentioned is the one on which you want to use IntelliPRINTPLUS for Domino.

iii. Under the "Notes Network Ports" sub-tab in the "Ports" tab of the Server Document, you MUST specify the correct "Net Address" for the "TCPIP" Port.
iv. The Domino Server should be given appropriate access in the database access control lists (ACL) and the roles should also be enabled, so that the server has access to all the documents in the database.
