Running IPPlus for Domino with IIS - Domino Integration
IntelliPRINTPLUS for Domino can be installed even on a Domino Server which uses Microsoft IIS as the HTTP engine.
This article describes the steps to be followed in order to setup IntelliPRINTPlus on a Domino Server running along with Microsoft IIS.
Installation Steps:
1. Creating 'ipf' Virtual Directory in IIS:
A virtual directory named 'ipf' should be created in IIS web site root path and it must be mapped to the Domino sub-directory 'Data\domino\html\ipf' (typically it will be 'C:\Lotus\Domino\Data\domino\html\ipf').
This can be done using the Microsoft Management Console ( MMC ) which is used to configure IIS.
The properties of this virtual directory will look like as shown in the image:

2. Copying IP DLLs to IIS Directory:
All the IPPlus Program Files (DLLs) should be copied to the IIS program directory.
Typcially the IIS program directory will be : C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\INETSRV
Current version of IPPlus for Domino 3.52a includes the following DLLs:
NIPrint.dll
NCLNRtf.dll
IPReport.dll
IPReport.lng
IPWnd.dll
IPRender.dll
IPCore.dll
INResource.dll
IPResource.dll
These DLLs are availble in the IP for Domino 3.52a Installer.
Open Installer Database->Help->Installation Files->Program document contains all the IPPlus for Domino DLLs.
Important Note: IIS configuration for Domino Integration says Domino Server need not to be running to use the db applications. But IP for Domino needs the Domino server to be running while viewing the formats over web.
