Customer Profile
The University of Windsor (UOW), Canada has
15,000 students enrolling each semester. The
university also has a faculty 300 plus that is
expected to reach 500 in the near future.
Challenge
UOW’s professors and research scholars
needed to prepare custom-made curriculum vitae
for participation in events and seminars.
In the past, when CVs were required they were
either created manually or by using software
programs such as Microsoft Word. The process
took at least three hours and was rife with errors.
Once a CV was generated using Word, it was saved
in the central CV Repository. For staff to then
edit, modify or delete their CV files was a very
tedious process. The CV Repository also needed
to be updated on a regular basis.
UOW wanted to cut the time taken for CV generation
and also wanted to eliminate the manual CV processes,
which often caused inaccuracies.
