Shiv Kumar - Chairman & Principal Founder

Shiv is the principal founder of Synaptris and CSS (Cybernet-SlashSupport) Corp. Prior to founding Synaptris, he spent a decade at ICICI and its joint venture with JP Morgan. He has experience in managing private equity, IPOs, debt syndication and technology. Starting with a team of four employees in 1996, Synaptris and CSS now have over 5,000 employees. Shiv has led Synapytris during this period of growth, raising capital, building teams, innovating & marketing successful products and adding close to 2000 customers.

Madan S. Kumar - Chief Executive Officer

Madan has extensive experience in the software industry and has been involved with a broad spectrum of software products. Prior to joining Synaptris, he was the Co-founder and CEO of Sasken Network Systems. Before Sasken, he managed the software product business at Lucent Technologies as Vice President and General Manager. His work experience includes stints at companies like Ascend Communications, Stonybrook Software, MicroLand and Wipro GE. Madan is a computer engineer from the Regional Engineering College, Trichy with a postgraduate degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Nagaraj L. Bhargava - Chief Operating Officer

Nagaraj brings his vast experience in leadership roles in Sales and Marketing operations with leading technology companies to the Synaptris management team. Nagaraj joined Synaptris from SAP India where he was the Vice President of Marketing & Communications. In over 8 years with SAP, he played a significant role in the growth and success of SAP in India, successfully managing a variety of functions including Marketing, Business Operations, Channel Development, Alliances & Strategic Initiatives. Prior to SAP, Nagaraj was with HCL Infosystems where he held regional, vertical and national responsibilities. Prior to HCL, Nagaraj handled business and channel development in the manufacturing and process automation sectors. He is a graduate engineer in Instrumentation Technology.

Paramasivam Venkataramasamy - Vice President, Engineering

Param heads Product Engineering and Support. He was a Co-founder and Director of e-Brahma Technologies prior to his current role. Before e-Brahma, he had a long stint at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) spanning several large projects. He has also worked as a faculty member at the Regional Engineering College (now National Institute of Technology), Trichy before joining TCS. Param is an electronics engineer with a postgraduate degree in Computer Science from Regional Engineering College, Trichy. He has more than 18 years of experience in the IT industry.

Balakrishnan Hariharan - Vice President, Sales

Bala manages sales for the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Synaptris, he was the Regional Head (Services Sales) for CSS Europe. Before CSS he worked with IT majors such as iLabs, Sify, Pentasoft and Pertech Computers Ltd. Bala, an engineer and MBA has over 14 years of Sales, Marketing and Business Development experience in the IT industry.

Ravin Carr - Director, Marketing

Ravin is responsible for market analysis, competitive positioning and marketing strategy & operations. Ravin has extensive experience in sales and marketing strategy & operations. Prior to joining Synaptris, he was the head of marketing for the Product Lifecycle Services SBU at CSS (Cybernet-SlashSupport) Corp. In addition to 7 years in Software Products and Services marketing, his experience includes telecom services and healthcare products. Ravin is a postgraduate in Management (MBA, Marketing) from the Regional Engineering College (now National Institute of Technology), Trichy.
